Sweden is demanding an explanation from Venezuela over how weapons exported to the South American country may have ended up with Colombian rebels.Colombia says anti-tank rocket launchers sold to Venezuela by Sweden in the 1980s were obtained by Colombia's main rebel group, the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.
Trade Minister Ewa Bjorling says Sweden has demanded an explanation from Venezuela's top diplomat in Stockholm.
She said Thursday that Sweden has not received any answer from Venezuela, but has "good contacts" with Colombia on the case.
