Slovakia's charter airline Seagle Air AS said Thursday it would halt all flights due to a lack of finances. The airline said it was forced to temporarily end flights as of midnight Thursday after Italian partner Skyone Italy Airlines Ltd. failed to meet financial contract terms.
Seagle Air Director General Peter Hanak says the airline has informed travel agencies about the situation.
He says the flights are expected to resume eventually. He gave no details.
Seagle is the second Slovakia-based airline to get into financial trouble, after discount carrier SkyEurope Airline AS filed for bankruptcy last month.
