Patty Schnyder beat Kim Clijsters 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (6) to reach the quarterfinal of the Luxembourg Open.The Swiss outsider punished Clijsters for her 11 double faults in the two-hour match and imposed the first defeat on the Belgian since she won the U.S. Open last month.
