Mark Fraser added his first career goal, and Martin Brodeur made 32 saves for the Devils, who are 5-0 on the road for the first time in team history.

In Calgary, Alberta, Nigel Dawes scored twice, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves to help Calgary beat Edmonton and notch a third straight victory.
Rene Bourque had a goal and two assists, and Eric Nystrom and David Moss also scored.
Dustin Penner scored his eighth goal of the season for Edmonton, and Lubomir Visnovsky added a goal.

In Denver, Craig Anderson made a season-high 48 saves as Colorado downed Detroit.
Chris Stewart and T.J. Galiardi each had a goal and an assist for the Western Conference-leading Avalanche.
Kris Draper scored his second goal of the season and Jimmy Howard had 20 saves for the Red Wings, winless in their past three games.

In Glendale, Arizona, Jarret Stoll scored his first two goals of the season to help lift Los Angeles over Phoenix.
Dustin Brown also scored twice, while Wayne Simmonds added a goal and Anze Kopitar had three assists to help the Kings win their third straight.
Canadiens 5, Rangers 4
In Montreal, Mike Cammalleri scored his third goal of the game in overtime to give Montreal its third straight victory and sink New York.
Matt D'Agostini and Marc-Andre Bergeron also scored for the Canadiens. Marian Gaborik, Matt Gilroy, Artem Anisimov and Ales Kotalik found the net for New York.
Bruins 4, Senators 3, SO
In Ottawa, Patrice Bergeron scored the lone shootout goal as Boston overcame a 3-1 deficit in the final 1:28 of regulation to beat Ottawa.
Mark Recchi drew the Bruins within one, and David Krejci tied it with 21 seconds left in the third. Blake Wheeler also had a goal for Boston.
Stars 4, Blues 1
In St. Louis, Loui Eriksson had a goal and an assist as Dallas overcame St. Louis.
Marty Turco made 26 saves to help Dallas improve to 4-0-3 on the road.
James Neal, Tom Wandell and Brian Sutherby also scored, and Brad Richards added two assists.
Sharks 4, Thrashers 3
In Atlanta, Patrick Marleau had two goals and an assist for San Jose in the win over Atlanta.
Former Atlanta star Dany Heatley and Joe Thornton also scored for the Sharks.
Todd White, Evander Kane and Rich Peverley scored for Atlanta.

In Tampa, Florida, Tyler Myers scored in the sixth round of the shootout for Buffalo to edge Tampa Bay.
The shootout was forced when Drew Stafford tied it with 16 seconds left in regulation.
Mike Grier also scored for the Sabres.
Capitals 3, Islanders 2, OT
In Uniondale, New York, Mike Green scored in the third period and set up Brooks Laich's overtime winner for Washington, defeating New York.
Green started Washington's rally from a 2-0 hole in the third when he whistled a slap shot past goalie Dwayne Roloson at 6:02. Keith Aucoin got some help from the leg of Islanders forward Josh Bailey to tie it with 6:50 left before Laich's heroics.
Blackhawks 2, Predators 0
In Chicago, Cristobal Huet made 27 saves for his first shutout of the season, helping Chicago down Nashville.
Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd scored on rebounds 56 seconds apart in the second period for Chicago.
Nashville has been shut out three times this season.
Blue Jackets 6, Ducks 4
In Anaheim, California, Fedor Tyutin scored the go-ahead goal on a one-timer from the blue line with 3:22 left, lifting Columbus over Anaheim.
Rick Nash and Jakub Voracek each scored twice, and Antoine Vermette had a goal and two assists for Columbus.
Steve Mason finished with 32 saves for the Blue Jackets.
Flyers 5, Panthers 1
In Philadelphia, Danny Briere had two goals for Philadelphia in the win over Florida.
Arron Asham scored for a third straight game, Simon Gagne added his first of the season, and rookie James van Riemsdyk capped the scoring with his first NHL goal.
The game was marred by an injury to David Booth _ the Florida left wing left the ice on a stretcher following a hard blow to the face from Flyers captain Mike Richards.
Wild 3, Hurricanes 2, OT
In St. Paul, Minnesota, Cal Clutterbuck scored 1:55 into overtime for Minnesota, leaving Carolina winless in seven road games.
Andrew Brunette and Kyle Brodziak also scored for Minnesota, and Sergei Samsonov and Joni Pitkanen countered for the Hurricanes.
Canucks 3, Maple Leafs 1
In Vancouver, British Columbia, Mason Raymond and Ryan Kesler scored power-play goals 2:42 apart in the first period as Vancouver inflicted more misery on Toronto.
Roberto Luongo made 35 saves for Vancouver, and Raymond also had an empty-net goal.
The Maple Leafs are the NHL's last winless team, setting a record for their worst start at 0-7-1.
