Tropical Storm Lupit will continue tracking northeastward, remaining just south of Japan on Tuesday. While the system has greatly decreased in strength, it will remain a tropical storm with winds up to 73 mph and periods of heavy rain.The southern coast of Japan will see moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms. Expect periods of heavy rainfall over Tokyo.
Meanwhile, Neki will maintain its strength as a tropical storm as it continues moving northward and away from Hawaii. Landfall is still not anticipated.
Mostly sunny skies will persist over the Korean Peninsula and northeastern China. Seoul will be sunny. Mild weather is also expected over the East China Sea and into eastern China.
This system will kick up light and widespread scattered showers that will sprinkle over Changsha and Xi'an. Beijing will remain sunny, while Shanghai will see a few clouds. Hong Kong will remain warmer with plenty of sunshine on Tuesday.
In Australia, there will be a few scattered showers over New South Wales.
