A television helicopter crashed into a tire factory and burst into flames in northeast Mexico on Friday, injuring four people on board.

The Bell 206 helicopter was carrying journalists working on a breakfast news program for the Grupo RCG network when it went down in the city of Saltillo.

A Coahuila state transportation department spokeswoman said the pilot and three passengers suffered only minor injuries. She spoke on condition of anonymity, saying agency policy does not permit her to be quoted by name.

Aviation authorities are investigating the crash.
