Shoe designer to share U.K. creative industry development experience

World acclaimed shoe designer Jimmy Choo will speak at this year's Education U.K. Autumn Exhibition on his career in fashion and will share his experience of the creative industry development in the United Kingdom, the British Council Taipei said Wednesday.

英國文化協會二十一日說，世界著名鞋靴設計師周仰傑將在今年的英國教育秋季展，以他的流行時裝事業為題講演，並分享他對英國創意產業發展的經驗。

According to a statement released by the council, Choo will host two seminars at the fair Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, with topics including why and how he built up his career as a shoe designer, advice for students who are inspired to work in design and fashion, and the experience of studying and living in the U.K.

根據協會公佈的一份聲明，周仰傑將在二十四日和二十五日的展場上主持兩場研討會，主題包括他為什麼和怎樣建立自己的鞋靴設計師職業生涯，對有志在設計和時裝界工作的學生的建言，以及在英國學習和生活的經驗。

In addition to Choo's seminars, the fair will also have a Creative U.K. area that will feature a mini-exhibition of the Jimmy Choo Couture shoe collection, classic Wedgewood tableware, and design works from U.K. alumni.

除了周仰傑的研討會，展覽會也將有創意英國的區塊，提供周仰傑流行鞋靴、經典韋奇伍德餐具以及英國校友設計作品的小型展覽。

The Education U.K. Autumn Exhibition, which runs from Oct. 24-28, will also be held in Taichung and Kaohsiung, with representatives from British universities and schools taking part in the exhibition, according to the statement.

根據協會聲明，從十月二十四日至二十八日舉行的英國教育秋季展，也將在台中、高雄舉行，參與展覽的包括英國大學和學校的代表。

Visitors to the fair will not only have the chance to meet U.K. school delegates face-to-face and enjoy one-stop shopping for all the latest information about studying and living in Britain, but also a chance to win a Wedgewood tea set, a free trip to the U.K. and other prizes.
