Guimaraes snapped Braga's near perfect Portuguese start with a 1-0 victory over the early league leader on Saturday.Yves Desmarets' stunning goal in the 30th minute at Alfonso Henriquez Stadium handed Braga its first defeat in 10 games. The surprise leader had won eight games coming in, among them four-time defending champion FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting.
Benfica can match Braga with 25 points with a victory against Naval on Monday.
Porto was third with 20 points followed by Rio Ave and Nacional with 14.
Setubal and Olhanense played to 0-0 in Saturday's other game.
Sporting looks for its first win in five rounds on Sunday against Rio Ave, while Leiria plays Academica and Leixoes is against Nacional in other 10th round games.
