In a telephone interview, Agassi says he spent years "angry and disappointed" at himself, that he "can't live with that anymore," and has no regrets about making any of the revelations in his memoir.

Agassi writes about various things he previously hid from the public _ using crystal meth, failing a drug test, his use of a hairpiece. The eight-time Grand Slam champion says some lies were a result of "fear."

In the book, he's also critical of Pete Sampras and Michael Chang, says he hated tennis and describes his fear of his father. The book comes out Monday.
