An official says a Russian national was killed and five others on board were injured in a helicopter crash in Nepal's remote northwest on Sunday.Surkhet airport official Tek Bahadur Patali said the helicopter run by local operator Manang Air was trying to land when its rear rotors hit a mountainside and the pilot lost control of the aircraft.
The dead Russian was a flight engineer but he was yet to be identified. The nationalities of the five injured were not immediately clear.
The helicopter was transporting grain to the remote mountain village.
