Britain's High Court has ruled that more secret information relating to the alleged torture of a former Guantanamo detainee should be disclosed.Ethiopia-born Binyam Mohamed says the United States and Britain were complicit in his torture in Pakistan and Morocco.
His lawyers are pressing for Britain to release a seven-paragraph summary of U.S. intelligence files on his detention _ a document he claims proves Britain's complicity.
Thursday's ruling concerns four paragraphs an earlier court judgment that the government says reveal the content of the secret material. Several media organizations, including The Associated Press, are involved in the case, arguing that the documents should be made public.
The British government is appealing the judgment.
