A low pressure system lingering over the Sea of Japan will continue pushing moist flow over northern Japan, triggering light scattered showers. Tokyo will only see a few scattered clouds.

Meanwhile, a wide ridge of high pressure will build over China and the East China Sea and stretch over the Korean peninsula. This will bring sunny and warm conditions with cool and clear overnight conditions. Seoul and Beijing will see mostly sunny skies.

Flow around this system will create a front that will stretch from western Japan into southeastern China. Expect overcast skies over Shanghai, while Hong Kong will only see a few patchy clouds.

This front will also create onshore flow over Vietnam and Cambodia, causing scattered showers to persist over Indochina.

In Australia, a low pressure system will move into the Great Australian Bight and spread over the surrounding shores. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over Western and South Australia. Higher pressure dominating in the north will allow for another dry and sunny day. Sydney will see increasingly cloudy skies.
