Supporters of Albania's opposition are staging a marathon protest in front of Prime Minister Sali Berisha's office to demand a probe into allegations of vote rigging.Socialist lawmakers and hundreds of supporters spent the night in tents. No incidents were reported through Saturday morning.
The opposition has boycotted parliament and called for re-counts. The government says the re-count would be illegal.
The conservatives and their allies won 75 of parliament's 140 seats in the June 28 elections; the Socialists and an ally won 65.
Socialist leader Edi Rama has vowed to keep up the boycott until there is "transparency of the June 28 vote." International monitors said the June elections failed to fully meet international standards.
