Opposition demonstrators have clashed with supporters of President Daniel Ortega after a march on the capital to protest a court ruling that would allow Ortega run for re-election.A spokesman for the opposition Liberal Party says supporters of Ortega's Sandinista party attacked a bus carrying demonstrators back from the peaceful Saturday march in Managua to Leon. Spokesman Leonel Teller says a similar attack also has occurred in the city of Matagalpa.
Receptionist Baltazara Sevilla at the Oscar Danilo Rosales hospital in Leon confirms the hospital is treating some of the injured, but could not say how many.
Critics say that pro-Ortega magistrates of the Supreme Court acted improperly in overturning the ban on re-election.
