On Dec. 23 2009, Silversea will present their newest luxury cruise ship - Silver Spirit - with a capacity of 540 people, more verandas, more dining choices, and more onboard amenities.

"Silver Spirit will become an amazingly magnificent, luxury vessel in our fleet. With the final countdown to the launch of Silver Spirit, our loyal and new guests are very interested in the itinerary of maiden voyage," said Steve Odell, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific at Silversea Cruises.

The grand inaugural voyage of Silver Spirit is scheduled to kick off on Jan. 21, 2010. On her entire 91-day voyage, the ship is set to explore over 20 countries and 45 ports, departing from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and arriving at New York City.

In addition, Silver Spirit was designed with a huge amount of open and covered deck space - a world-class spa measuring 8,300 square feet, a sophisticated 1930s Art Deco decor and the largest suites (95% with private verandas) in the Silversea fleet.
