Bomb explodes outside Greek anarchist club
Associated Press
2009-11-24 05:11 PM
Greek police say a small bomb has exploded outside an anarchist club in the northern city of Thessaloniki, causing minor damage but no injury.

The pre-dawn blast in central Thessaloniki damaged the club entrance and three cars parked outside the building. It also broke windows in nearby flats and offices.

There was no warning for Tuesday's attack and no claim of responsibility.

Greek anarchist militants frequently attack symbols of wealth and state power. Recently, anarchists claimed arson attacks on two Thessaloniki sex shops.
