Employees will be on hand 24 hours a day during the Lunar New Year holiday while enough power has been stored to supply to customers, the Taiwan Power Corporation said yesterday.A total of 4,200 employees would be on hand each day at power stations, generators and service stations to provide 24-hour service in the event of problems, the state-run utility said. If a power outage occurred, members of the public could call the 1911 emergency number, which would lead to the immediate dispatch of a repair crew, the company said.
