Taiwan shares open higher

Taipei, March 10 (CNA) The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index opened higher Wednesday than its previous close, moving up 27.11 points at 7,797.7 on a turnover of NT$2.06 billion (US$64.38 million).

The weighted price index gained 8.32 points, or 0.1 percent, to close at 7,770.59 Tuesday.
