U.S. dollar down on Taipei FOREX

Taipei, March 10 (CNA) The U.S. dollar lost ground against the New Taiwan dollar on the Taipei Foreign Exchange Wednesday, dropping NT$0.003 to close at NT$31.847.

A total of US$959 million changed hands during the trading session.

The U.S. currency opened at NT$31.9 and fluctuated between NT$31.729 and NT$31.902.
