Uruguay's Forlan, Suarez missing for Angola match

Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez, the forwards who led Uruguay to fourth place at the World Cup, were left out of the squad to play Angola in a friendly in August in Portugal.

Coach Oscar Tabarez will also miss the Aug. 11 match in Lisbon. The squad announced Wednesday will be led by Juan Verzeri, coach of Uruguay's under-20 team. Tabarez is out of contract and involved in negotiations to renew his deal.

Forlan and Suarez were left out for "personal reasons."

Midfielder Cristian Rodriguez, who missed the World Cup, is included. Rodriguez was suspended for four games after receiving a red card in the last match of South American qualifying and missing the two-legged playoff that secured Uruguay's qualification.
