Marcelo Sarvas scored in the 10th minute as the Los Angeles Galaxy extended their unbeaten streak to seven games with a 1-1 draw against the Colorado Rapids on Sunday.

Jaime Castrillon scored his eighth goal of the year in the 16th minute for the Rapids, who have won only once in their last 15 games.

Los Angeles pressured Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens early and it paid off quickly. Robbie Keane had his shot blocked by defenders, but the ball rebounded to Sarvas, who sent a low drive past Pickens' right hand.

Landon Donovan and Sarvas combined to set up Keane in front of an open goal in the 13th minute, but Keane fell and never got to the ball.

Donovan had a goal disallowed in the 29th minute after he leaped over Freeman and put the ball past Pickens.

"The game was there to be won and we didn't win it," Colorado midfielder Jeff Larentowicz said. "Now we are faced with the prospects that we have to win every game" to qualify for the playoffs.
