GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- Celtic extended its lead in the Scottish Premiership to 13 points by beating St. Mirren 4-0 on Sunday, with the defending champion scoring all its goals in the second half.

Charlie Mulgrew opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, Anthony Stokes added the second five minutes later and playmaker Kris Commons netted twice in a three-minute span. Celtic didn't concede for the eighth straight domestic match.

Aberdeen is Celtic's nearest rival after beating Kilmarnock 1-0 to climb to second place above Motherwell, whose game against Inverness on Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
