Taipei, Jan. 6 (CNA) A South Korean C-130 military cargo plane landed at Kaohsiung International Airport Monday for a refueling stop. The arrival was notable because military planes of non-allied countries rarely land in Taiwan. The plane is scheduled to depart Tuesday morning for Indonesia, the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) said. The Ministry of National Defense (MND) and the CAA said South Korea applied to Taiwan to make the refueling stop on its way to Indonesia. The application was approved in accordance with existing regulations, the MND said, declining to give further details. (By Claudia Liu and Sofia Wu)
