To mark the 30th anniversary of the opening, Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei teams up with organizations and schools to conduct a couple of celebrations as well as charity events, including a blood campaign, charity concert, volunteering in social welfare facility, and donating moon-cakes to underprivileged groups throughout the year.

In a joint effort with Taiwan Blood Services Foundation and Taipei Blood Center, Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei will launch a large scale Blood Drive Campaign from January 6th through December 22nd of 2014, aiming to collect 300,000cc of blood. For each donation of 250cc of blood, donors will be rewarded with one Le Café weekday lunch or dinner voucher, which is valued at NT$1,078 (US$35). Furthermore, donors are eligible to join a lucky draw event held tentatively on December 23rd, 2014. The lucky draw will take place at an earlier date if the 300,000cc target is achieved.

Also to mark the milestone of its 30th year in Taiwan, Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei invites distinguished chef Eisuke Saito from Hotel Nikko Tokyo to stay at Hotel Nikko Taipei's Japanese restaurant "Nakayama" as visiting chef. With over 30 years of experience, Saito is renowned for his innovative Japanese cuisine. This time he will transform the in-season local ingredients through Japanese culinary styles and techniques fit for a king.
