LONDON (AP) -- Flyhalf George Ford has been called up to England's Six Nations squad in place of Toby Flood.

Ford is the only change to Stuart Lancaster's squad from the autumn internationals, with Freddie Burns keeping his place alongside first-choice flyhalf Owen Farrell.

Lancaster says "we have kept changes to a minimum because we believe this squad can take us forward" into the 2015 World Cup.

Flood has lost his place after deciding to leave Leicester, with a move to a French club likely.

Lancaster says Flood "has made a lifestyle choice and we respect that but given the RFU's policy of not selecting players based overseas save for exceptional circumstances it was important that we allow others such as George Ford to progress."
