LISBON, Portugal (AP) -- Benfica held a minute's silence in honor of former club great Eusebio before beating title rival FC Porto 2-0 at home on Sunday to go top of the Portuguese league.

Forward Rodrigo Moreno opened the scoring for Benfica in the 13th minute, and defender Ezequiel Garay doubled the advantage in the 53rd.

Porto played the final 15 minutes with 10 men after Danilo was dismissed for a second yellow card.
