Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei hails 30th anniversary with special room packages

The Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei, a chain hotel of Nikko Hotels International, celebrated its 30th anniversary on January 10. The hotel also rolls out competitive accommodation or service packages to lure customers to stay.

Room guests choosing Royal Beauty skincare package will enjoy a 30 percent off discount for skincare spa services priced at NT$3,000 or above as well as a 30-minute complimentary skincare service, which will pamper the guests with exceptional treatments.

Another package "My Sweet Duckling Room" features a famed giant yellow rubber duck created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, which is now touring at Keelung's Maritime Plaza, and guests staying specific rooms in this package will receive a souvenir-- a yellow duck ceramic filled with Royal Bakery's French orange peel chocolate. Room types and rates: Superior Room for NT4,730, Deluxe Room for NT$5,030, Premier Room for NT$5,630, and Deluxe Triple Room for NT$5,830.

There is also a special accommodation package only available for Taiwanese citizens, coming with three types of rooms at the best bargain rates: Superior Room for NT$4,030, Deluxe Room for NT$4,330, and Premier Room for NT$4,930. All rates are subject to a 10 percent service charge and 5 percent VAT.

Better yet, starting from January 10th through January 31st of this year, guests choosing either My Sweet Duckling or the special package only for nationals are entitled to an upgrade to Premier Room for only NT$30 (US$1). Only three rooms are up for grabs every day in the designated period.
