Shanghai Pavilion presents a lunch and dinner set menu from 14 to 16 February 2014, featuring Double-Boiled Fish Maw with Fresh Scallops and Abalone, Baked Lobster with Cream Sauce, Braised Dried Scallop and Penghu Loofah, Steamed Pork Dumplings with Truffle and Bird’s Nest Sweet Soup with Papaya. The menu is priced at NT$3,300 per person.
Head Chef Marco Priolo of Marco Polo Restaurant presents an exclusive set priced at NT$3,888 per person for dinner on 14 February 2013. The menu includes Red Shrimps Carpaccio with Fresh Fennels and Orange Salad, Fresh Oysters in Double-Boiled Chicken Consommé, Rendez-vous of Rossini-Style U.S. Angus Beef Tenderloin with Marsala Sauce, and Truffle Ice Cream. Guests who come on a double date will receive a complimentary bottle of house red wine.
At ibuki by Takagi Kazuo, Michelin two-starred Chef Takagi Kazuo offers a nine-course dinner set on 14 February 2014 for NT$3,388 per person. The menu includes Chef Takagi’s signature soup item – Preserved Dried Cabbage with Handmade Tofu in Clear Vegetable Soup – an appetizer platter, Grilled Salmon, a hot pot featuring duck and vegetables, U.S. Prime Angus Beef Teppanyaki and a limited-edition special dessert. The last order time for this set menu is at 9 p.m.
Executive Chinese Chef Ip Chi-kwong of Shang Palace puts together a Valentine’s Day set menu featuring Double-Boiled Black Chicken Soup with Jewel Orchid and Abalone, Pan-Fried Beef Tenderloin with Garlic, Fried Rice Vermicelli with Seafood and Deep-Fried Chocolate Paste Dumplings coated with Sesame Seeds. The set menu is priced at NT$2,280 per person.
Café at Far Eastern will offer every female guest a rose on Valentine’s Day. Executive Chef Beat Enderli presents assorted dishes, such as Seared Scallops with Orange and Chive Mayonnaise, Flamed Prawn Sushi with Cheese, Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Chinese Herbs, Lamb Stewed Noodle Soup and Pumpkin Soup with Truffle Paste. The dessert station upgrades the selection for lovebirds with Valentine’s Day Cupcakes, Raspberry Macaroon, White Wine Berries and more. Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are respectively priced at NT$890, NT$590 and NT$1,280 per person on 14 February 2014.
