Taipei, March 5 (CNA) Taiwan High Speed Rail Co. Chairman Ou Chin-der on Wednesday resigned to take up responsibility for causing unease in the wake of raising ticket prices and for recent glitches in train services. Ou, 69, has been in that post since September 2009. But he has recently agreed to serve as an advisor to Sean Lien's election campaign team. THSRC Spokesman Ted Chia said Ou's resignation had nothing to do with his role in the campaign team of Lien, who has announced a bid to run for Taipei mayor. (By Elizabeth Hsu)
