SAO PAULO (AP) -- Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari seems pleased with the tests he made in the team's final match before the World Cup squad is announced, saying Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho and Bayern Munich right back Rafinha played up to expectations in the 5-0 rout of South Africa.

Scolari has his list nearly finalized, and Wednesday's friendly in Johannesburg helped him eliminate some of the doubts that could still be lingering ahead of the May 7 announcement of the World Cup squad.

Fernandinho and Rafinha were late additions to the team and had their first -- and likely last -- chance to prove their worth.

Scolari says he "liked how both players performed" in the friendly.
