GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- Celtic moved into touching distance of the Scottish Premiership title with a comfortable 3-0 win over struggling St. Mirren on Saturday.

Norwegian midfielder Stefan Johansen headed Celtic in front just before halftime, Leigh Griffiths grabbed the second goal in the 61st minute, and strike partner Anthony Stokes netted the third in the closing seconds.

Celtic is 24 points ahead of Aberdeen, which beat Kilmarnock 2-1.

The Glasgow club will wrap up its third successive championship with a win against Partick Thistle on Wednesday, if Aberdeen drops points at Ross County the previous night.
