MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) -- The FBI says one of its "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" is back in the United States to face murder charges in the killing of his 19-year-old girlfriend and her toddler son.

The FBI says in a release Friday that Juan Elias Garcia voluntarily returned to the United States to face charges.

Nicaraguan police said on Thursday that the alleged MS-13 gang member was arrested near the U.S. Embassy in Managua. He was immediately turned over to the FBI.

Prosecutors say he lured Vanessa Argueta and her 2-year-old son to the woods of Central Islip (EYE'-slihp), N.Y. in February 2010 where two other gang members shot them to death.

He is expected in U.S. District Court in Central Islip on Monday. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
