Taipei, May 31 (CNA) China's "flat panel queen" Bai Weimin is expected to purchase billions of dollars worth of flat panels in Taiwan when she visits next week during Taipei's annual Computex show, Taiwan's main trade promotion body said Saturday. This year, China will buy mainly 4K2K flat panels, accounting for at least 20 percent of its total purchases, said the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), which has been inviting Bai to Computex Taipei every year since 2009. Bai, deputy director of the China Video Industry Association, has pledged to buy at least US$4.5 billion worth of products during her visit this year, (TAITRA) said. She is also scheduled to attend a cross-Taiwan Strait cooperation conference on the display industry on June 6, according to TAITRA.
