Kaohsiung, June 1 (CNA) A student of a local university staged a prototype model making of his sexual organs for the first time in Kaohsiung on Sunday as part of an art creation to improve people's understanding of their bodies through different means and materials. The junior student surnamed "Hsiao Chih," who majors in interior design, staged the live show at The Yard Theatre, raising concerns from the police. After launching an investigation on the spot, the police concluded that this model making was not illegal because the free "art exhibition" took place at a private theater and the attendees were at least 18 years of age. "I was set free!" Hsiao Chih told reporters after a model maker poured seaweed jello on his genitals, fixating the model with swab before unwinding it -- a process that is similar to making teeth models. The performer said he has learned about positively treating his own body from this special experience and will no longer care how other people think about him. Hsiao Chih said he will not rule out the possibility of joining another such show and will follow the arrangement of the theater. Feng Ching, artistic director of The Yard Theatre, said that any act of self-awakening and self-consciousness is worth fecilitating and she was moved by Hsiao Chih's courage to share with people. Naked performance artist Ruan Jen-chu, presenting a flower bouquet to congratulate the performer, said "Hsiao Chih of yesterday is dead; from now on, his whole being belongs to The Yard Theatre."
