RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- A new poll shows Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff slipping ahead of her re-election bid in October.

The survey released Friday shows 34 percent of respondents saying they intend to vote for Rousseff, down from 37 percent in early May.

But support for Rousseff's two main rivals also slipped a bit. The number of respondents who say they're undecided or intend to cast a blank ballot jumped from 24 to 30 percent.

Rousseff has faced criticism for her government's handling of the economy, as well as spending on the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and this month's World Cup soccer tournament.

The Datafilha polling agency surveyed 4,337 respondents nationwide this week. The poll has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
