According to Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) statistics, the TWSE weighted index closed at 9,134.46 points on June 6, winning 58.55 points on its May 30 close of 9,075.91 points, or approximated 0.65%. The Taiwan 50 index closed at 6,364.77 points, gaining 63.73 points on its May 30 close of 6,301.04 points, or approximated 1.01%. The Formosa Stock Index closed at 10,702.72 points, climbing 73.33 points on its May 30 close of 10,629.39, or approximately 0.69%.
In terms of sector indices, the information service index gained the most at 4.74%, and the trading & consumer goods index lost the most ground at 3.29%. The non-financial index gained 60.33 points, or approximately 0.78%. The non-electronic index lost 17.48 points, or approximately 0.13%. The non-financial non-electronic index gave up 9.50 points, or approximately 0.08%.
Turnover on the mainboard last week totaled NT$427.76 billion, turnover for all listed companies totaled NT$413.79 billion, and volume turnover rate was 1.64%. Trading on sector shares as follows:

No. 1, semiconductor shares at NT$128.42 billion, accounting for 31.04% of turnover for all listed stocks
No. 2, optoelectronic shares at NT$48.00 billion, accounting for 11.60% of turnover for all listed stocks
No. 3, computers and peripherals shares at NT$41.09 billion, accounting for 9.93% of turnover for all listed stocks
Top three in terms of volume turnover rate:
No. 1, electronic components shares at 4.10%
No. 2, optoelectronic shares at 3.49%
No. 3, semiconductor shares at 3.45%
In the cumulative 102 trading days since the start of trading at the beginning of the year, turnover on the mainboard totaled NT$9.78 trillion, average daily turnover totaled NT$95.96 billion, volume turnover rate was 37.20% and the average daily volume turnover rate was 0.36%.
According to TWSE statistics, the market value of all list companies totaled NT$26.11 trillion on June 6, an increase of NT$170.39 billion, or 0.66%, compared to NT$25.93 trillion on May 30.
