Yilan: Foreign spouse show Chinese culinary skills

Yuanshan Township Office, Yilan County held the presentation for new immigrant Chinese cooking class on August 3. There were forty-seven foreign spouses showing the Chinese culinary skills by fried rice, spring roll, fried rice noodle and Spanish mackerel and other Taiwanese cuisine.

Yuanshan Township Office is supportive by Taiwan Yilan District Public Prosecutors' Office to hold new immigrant Chinese cooking program at Hui Hao Community and Tung Le Community since June, attracting forty-seven foreign spouses from Vietnam, Indonesia and China and other countries to join this program. It also invited the famous chef Chen Yun-ju and the village head of Chung Hua Village Chou Wen-ke to be the lecturers for the program. These foreign spouses had learnt so many Taiwanese cuisines after they joined it more than one month.

Yuanshan Township Office held the presentation for this program at Tung Le Community on August 3. The Mayor of Jiang Hong-he and the prosecutor of Taiwan Yilan District Public Prosecutors' Office Lai Ching-hsiang were present for this ceremony. In addition, the foreign spouses prepared the dried pork, celery, red beans, lotus seeds, longan and Chinese red dates to appreciate their lecturers to show the Taiwanese traditional culture.
