Taipei, Aug. 12 (CNA) The Tourism Bureau is hoping to capitalize on popularity of skyscraper Taipei 101's observatory to showcase Taiwan's tourist destinations, tourism officials said Tuesday. A designated area on the 89th-floor observatory will feature displays of the most appealing attractions in Taiwan's 22 cities and counties until Sept. 30, the bureau said. As the observatory itself attracts some 2 million visitors per year, the bureau said, it could be an ideal platform to publicize the destinations, which are rich in culture and history.
