NYON, Switzerland (AP) -- UEFA has punished Feyenoord for racist behavior by fans during a Champions League match against Besiktas of Turkey.

UEFA says the Netherlands club must close a section of its De Kuip stadium for the second leg of its Europa League playoff, and pay a 45,000 euros fine ($60,000).

Footage posted online appears to show Feyenoord fans chanting a religious insult at the visiting club during the July 30 match. Besiktas won 2-1 and later advanced to the playoff round.

UEFA says its disciplinary panel also charged Feyenoord with crowd disturbances after fans threw fireworks and missiles during the same match .

Feyenoord's sanction will be enforced when it hosts Ukraine's Zorya Luhansk next week.
