Linnei Township Office, Yunlin County holds commencement for new immigrant counseling programs on August 24

Linnei Township Office, Yunlin County held the commencement for new immigrant counseling programs on August 24. The director of Civil Affairs Department, Yunlin County Government Hsu Chang-che said he would like to appraise these new immigrants’ efforts to adapt to the local society as well as finish the thirty-five hour programs on weekends.

The Yunlin County Government opens the new immigrant counseling programs including the family education, human rights, Mandarin language, local folk cultures, worships, medical health counseling and so on. In addition to these programs above, the Linnei Township Office also offers local yummy foods, sewing skills, aiming to train them to have a professional skill and assist them to make the well adaption to local society.

In addition to establish the special group to offer the services for new immigrants, the local government also establishes foreign spouse family service center to create the comprehensive services for new immigrants, Civil Affairs Department said. We expect that local new immigrants could have the happy lives in Yunlin County.
