New records set in 2016 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The 2016 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games (NIAG) entered the third day, with three records set during the men and women's 100-/110-meter hurdles Monday.
The NIAG takes place in Taitung in eastern Taiwan from April 30 to May 4.
Hosted by the National Taitung University, the opening of the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games kicked off on Saturday evening.
Representing National Taiwan Normal University, Yang Wei-ting won the race by beating his rival Chen Kuei-lu of National Taiwan Sport University by breaking Chen's previous record of 13.86 seconds, setting a new record of 13.76 seconds for the game.
For women's game, Ko Hsiao-wen and Liu Ya-chun set the records of 16.06 and 13.65 seconds for amateur and professional categories respectively.
