Hertha Berlin defender Leandro Cufre has damaged ligaments in his right knee and will miss the remaining five rounds of the season.The Argentine, who is on loan from Monaco, was hurt in Berlin's 1-0 win at Hoffenheim on Friday and a scan revealed the injury, Berlin said Sunday.
The injury makes it unlikely that Berlin, which is second in the standings, will use an option to give Cufre a full contract. He has played sparingly since arriving in midseason.
