Cruise crew to end swine flu quarantine in Aruba
Associated Press
2009-06-21 06:27 AM
Authorities say 400 crew members will disembark next week from a cruise ship that docked in Aruba after a swine flu outbreak.

Three crew members had tested positive during the voyage that started June 12 in Aruba. Both Grenada and Barbados refused to let the Ocean Dream dock, forcing cancellation of the cruise. It is operated by Spain-based Pullmantur, a Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. subsidiary.

Aruba Health Minister Candelario Wever says crew members and the one passenger who tested positive for swine flu will be cleared to leave the ship by Tuesday.

He said Saturday that the ship's 400 passengers already have left the island.

Wever said Aruba also identified its first swine flu cases, in two volleyball players who returned from Trinidad.
