Terms and conditions
1. The above rates are quoted in NT$, and 5% vat. is included. The rates are subject to change without further notice. Payments made in foreign currencies are subject to foreign exchange surcharge.
2. For standard process spot color, add 20% to B/W rates.
3. Officially registered non-profit organization and charities may qualify for discounts. Details on application.
4. An ad unit (Per col x inch) is 4.7cm x 2.5 cm (width x height).
5. Written confirmation of orders must be received by The Taiwan News no later than 7 days prior to publication. The deadline for ad content is 5 days prior to publication. All bookings are subject to availability.
6. Written cancellations must be received 3 days prior to publication. Advertisers will be held responsible for penalty charge at 50% of the original amount if cancellations are made after that time.
7. Taiwan News reserves the right to reject, decline or refuse to publish in whole or in part any advertisement where in its sole opinion it considers necessary or desirable, and Taiwan News shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage arising as a result of such non-publication.

Material details
1. Mono — one piece film positive, recommended.
2. Full color — positive film, right reading, emulsion down.
3. Color separations must be applied for newspaper production.
4. All separations must compensate on 100 screen dot newsprint.
